With a name like Mountain View, you might have lofty expectations regarding the vistas around this small town in Catawba County, and those expectations would be more than justified. Next, end your evening with a show at the Hickory Community Theater, but be warned. You might be in for some ghostly entertainment as well. The theater is very old and famously haunted. Creepy encounters abound and are reported by both visitors and staff alike. From the prankster ghost that roams the balcony to the legendary woman in white who likes to appear on stage, the spectral activity here is off the EMF meter.
