Indian Trail

Indian Trail, North Carolina

Indian Trail, NC

To say Indian Trail, North Carolina, has become a popular destination for those looking for a change of scenery is an understatement. From 1990 until 2020, the population rose from almost two thousand to almost forty thousand, making it the biggest town in Union County. The closeness to Charlotte and the rural setting tops the list of attractants. Families have been coming in droves to the city, which was in Family Circle magazine’s top 10 places to live in the United States in 2009.

The town has many annual celebrations to keep the thriving community busy. The Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting are family favorites. One of the biggest events is the July 4th parade. Enjoy a day filled with hot dogs, burgers, and Americana. Local establishments build the floats, and residents can apply to participate in the festivities.

There is way more to do here than the scheduled events. Spend a day outside at Wise Acres Organic Strawberry Farm. Picking your own seasonal produce is just the start of the day. Activities abound with a zip line, barrel train, and wagon ride through the woods. The kids can pet and feed goats, rabbits, pigs, and more. Make sure to grab a jar of honey or elderberry syrup on the way out.

Play a round at Trail’s Dynasty Mini Golf & Creamery. The challenging 18-hole course has waterfalls, a water wheel, and lights for nighttime fun. Grab a sweet treat after a fun outing and choose from 32 Hershey’s Ice Cream flavors. If you have a birthday coming up, the atmosphere here makes for a great party, and multiple party packages are available.

For the #1 rated fun thing to do in Indian Trail as rated by Trip Advisor, see if you have what it takes at Masterpiece Escapes. Try the Metro Mayhem and Deadwood Saloon rooms. However, the scariest time is to be had in the Missing Room. You’ll find yourself in a town where 13 people have gone missing. You can also take a step back in time at the Miami Vice murder mystery night.

If a more relaxing experience is what you are looking for, grab the kids and head over to Chestnut Square Park. There is a playground, tennis, volleyball, and a walking track for the little ones. Picnic in the grass or use one of the grills and picnic shelters.

Indoor fun for the whole family is on the menu at Playland Indoor Playground. For kids 3-12, there is a 1,700-foot, multi-level structure complete with ball pits, bridges and tunnels, and slides. Watch your head as balls fly from the ball blasters. For the grownups, the café serves up locally roasted and specialty coffee.

One thing our area also serves up is pests. Roaches, Ants, and Termites love our town as much as we do. At Ease Pest Solutions is the company to call to serve an eviction notice when they move in. We are the most-trusted pest control service in Indian Trail and the surrounding area. Contact us today for all your pest control needs.
