Mint Hill, North Carolina, is a city steeped in history. The area began as a community called Clear Creek in 1750 and was Mecklenburg County’s first town. At Mint Hill Veteran’s Memorial Park, it may be hard to choose what to do. There are volleyball, tennis, handball courts, soccer and softball fields, horseshoe pits, a skating and bike path, and a children’s playground.
